- Play for your enjoyment, not just to please your parents or coaches
- Attend all team practices
- Respect your coaches and support them during games and practices
- Control your temper – trashing talking and dirty play spoils the game for everyone
- Be a team player – there is no “I” in soccer
- Play by the rules and respect the judgment of the officials (referees and linesmen)
- Respect your opponents – on the field and off
- Winning is only part of it – having fun, improving your skills, making friends and doing your best are just as important
